Each year, local volunteers are asked to review the work, outcomes and plans for agencies that wish to receive United Way funding.

After reviewing the agencies,  volunteers also determine how the campaign funds are distributed.  United Way funds 105 programs through 60 local partner agencies.

To receive funding from United Way, the program must be unduplicated, meet a real need, show positive and specific results and have a positive effect on community health and well-being.

New community review volunteers are always welcome, click here to receive information on becoming a community review volunteer.
